The house is a typical example of 18th century architecture with its 'welcoming arms' entrance way. This historic house is maintained by the St. George's Historical Society and contains an interseting collection of cedar furniture and Bermuda relics. The lower floor, Featherbed Alley entrance contains a working printing press of the kind invented by Johann Gutenburg in Germany in the 1450's and used with little change for three and a half centuries.
